The Center for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE), powered by Harrisburg University and supported by M&T Bank, has been recognized as the winner of the 2023 Women of Impact: Champion Award by the Whitaker Center for Science and the Arts, Women in STEAM program.
The program and awards which celebrate women in STEAM, recognizes women in Central Pennsylvania who have made an impact in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math. Each individual and organization that is nominated has made an impact in Central Pennsylvania.
The CIE team is honored, to receive this award and proud to support women who are pursuing opportunities in science, technology, and entrepreneurship.
MaDonna Awotwi accepted the award on the CIE’s behalf during a ceremony held on September 21, 2023. The event benefits the Whittaker Center’s Girls in STEM initiative, “empowering girls to know they are strong enough to change the world.”
