The delta variant of COVID-19 has pushed the CDC to recommend masks for unvaccinated people indoors.

If fully vaccinated, the CDC recommends wearing masks indoors in public for those who live in areas with substantial or high rates of transmission to help protect from the delta variant. 

Dr. Nancy Mimm, Assistant Professor and Program Lead of the Master of Science in Nursing program at Harrisburg University, recently weighed in on the matter with FOX43.

“The way that I would explain it to people is wear it anywhere where you don’t know everybody who’s in the room’s vaccine status,” Mimm said.
