The Center for Disease Control is urging those in communities with substantial and high coronavirus transmission rates to wear face coverings indoors.

As Pennsylvania works to get more people fully vaccinated against COVID-19, Dr. Nancy Mimm, Harrisburg University Professor of Population Health Nursing, weighed in on the recommendation with WGAL News 8.

“I would strongly encourage people to really consider wearing a mask anywhere that they don’t know someone’s vaccination status,” Mimm said.
