Since its outbreak in early 2020, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) has actively monitored the trends, developments, and science of COVID-19 with one primary concern in mind: Keeping the HU Community safe and healthy.
After multiple discussions among leaders of the HU Community, as well as reviewing current medical trends, governmental recommendations, and the wide range of options being considered by other universities, HU has decided that programs for undergraduate students will be delivered in a face-to- face manner for the 2021 Fall semester (August 30, 2021 to December 15, 2021).
We look forward to welcoming students back to HU facilities in Harrisburg and in Philadelphia. Please watch the HU website for details about general safety protocols, classroom and laboratory procedures, housing rules and regulations as well as exciting news about welcome back events being planned for August and September.
Please note that this announcement concerns undergraduate programs. HU has not yet made decisions regarding delivery methods for graduate or professional development programs during the fall 2021 semester. Decisions regarding these programs will be made over the next several weeks.
