Harrisburg University Instructor Dr. Nirmal Ahuja has been awarded the Carol Weisman Award for Excellence in the Doctor of Public Health Graduate Program at Penn State College of Medicine.

Ahuja, who teaches Population Health and Health Equity, received the graduate student commencement award for exceptional achievement in his program. Ahuja earned a Doctor of Public Health degree from the Penn State College of Medicine in December of 2020.

“It’s an honor to receive this award and with this, the belief in hard work strengthens even further,” Ahuja said.
