Harrisburg University alum Tyler Ross and HU assistant controller Dana Della Loggia have been recognized among Harrisburg’s 20 in Their 20s by Harrisburg Young Professionals and The Burg News.

The inaugural year for 20 in Their 20s, which recognizes Harrisburg’s most inspiring 20-somethings, a celebration event will take place at the Scottish Rite Cathedral Nov. 13.Ross graduated from HU with a B.S. in Computer Science in 2017. He is the founder of Ross Productions, an event consulting group that works with leading production companies to create ideas and collaborate to ensure that each event is a “masterpiece.”

Each year, Tyler and his company provide a full production setup for Shriners Pediatric Hospital, as well as Penn State Hershey Medical Center Children’s Cancer Center, free of cost. Tyler also helps with different beautification projects around Central Pennsylvania and volunteers with the Lower Swatara Township Fire Company.

“From the time I began attending Harrisburg University, I spent a lot of time within the city with my friends finding activities, places to eat, art, music and culture, and the best places to walk. After seeing what Harrisburg has to offer, I fell in love with it. From the city to the local surrounding towns, it’s the feel of a city without being a massive city,” Ross told HYP and The Burg of why investing in Harrisburg is important to him.

Della Loggia said attaining her CPA certification was one of the most challenging and significant things she has ever done professionally.

The key to her success is her drive to work hard, she said, which is fueled by her faith and desire to serve and make the community she lives and works in better. Della Loggia’s leadership has created opportunities for younger professionals to get involved in the city and network with other like-minded individuals. Her volunteer efforts with the Hoopla event directly impacted the Foundation for Enhancing Communities and other nonprofits. She supports organizations like HYP, TFEC, and the United Way, because they offer widespread support to the entire Capital Region.

Della Loggia is reliable and ambitious, HYP and The Burg noted, adding that “While maintaining a large workload, she never turns down an opportunity to give back to her community or inspire younger professionals. This collegiate golfer from Waynesburg University also serves on the Board of Directors at the Habitat for Humanity of Greater Harrisburg.”
