Join us on Friday, April 24, for an exciting day of events that will immerse you in Harrisburg University’s esports culture, programs, and academic offerings!

Students will experience an esports event firsthand by spectating the PA Cup Finals, a high school esports tournament hosted at Harrisburg University since 2019, where the top teams in the state in Rocket League and Marvel Rivals will be crowned. They will see how a tournament operates — from front-of-house production to behind-the-scenes coordination — while also learning about STEM career opportunities connected to esports. Students can interact with collegiate students and faculty, ask questions, and catch a glimpse of what’s possible in esports.

Throughout the day, students will attend panels, participate in roundtables, and hear from gaming, esports, and technology industry experts, as well as current HU students in the Esports Management, Production & Performance bachelor’s degree program. They will explore both the competitive and business opportunities within the collegiate esports space and the professional scene.

STEM Event Days at Harrisburg University give high school students the opportunity to take part in engaging conversations and hands-on investigations while getting a taste of HU’s STEM-focused academic programs. Each event allows students to explore a different career path made possible by innovations in science and technology, all within a dynamic, real-world setting that emphasizes experiential learning.
