2026 GIS Day Celebration
For the sixth year in a row, in collaboration with the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, HU is excited to participate in an international celebration of GIS technology. This is an excellent opportunity to bring together professionals seeking new information and connections, college students, and high school youth looking to explore fields in GIS. We welcome you to spend this exciting day with us!
Keynote Speaker
This year we are excited to welcome Michael Hermann as the keynote speaker. Michael Hermann is a nationally recognized cartographer and visual storyteller with over 30 years of experience designing maps that blend cultural, environmental, and historical depth with visual artistry. He is the founder of Purple Lizard Maps, known for its award-winning outdoor recreation maps. His maps sit at the intersection of geography, design, and story; created to inform, engage, and endure.
