Biography

Dr. Farooq Anjum is an expert with over 20 years of experience in building complex systems with a focus on wireless, machine learning and cyber-security. An architect of a wireless network for IoT devices that have been deployed in 30+ countries. He successfully launched several consumer-facing products including mobile TV at Qualcomm. Systems engineering experience on the first app store in the world launched by Qualcomm.

Dr. Anjum published more than 60 research papers and an author of two books and awarded 10 patents. He has a Ph.D in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Univ of Maryland College Park. He has been an Adjunct Professor at UPenn, Stevens, and Rutgers.

Dr. Anjum's research interests are in the areas of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Blockchain, mobile computing, wireless communications, big data applications, information security, wireless sensor networks, the Internet of Things (IoT), and digital agriculture. Also, he is very interested in entrepreneurship. He has published several research papers and has been awarded several patents.

Regarding teaching, Dr. Anjum has been an Adjunct Professor at several prestigious universities such as UPenn, Philadelphia, Stevens, Hoboken and Rutgers Piscataway.
