Harrisburg University accepts eligible college-level coursework from other institutions and allows students to transfer up to 87 credits toward a bachelor’s degree. No more than 70 transfer credits may come from a two-year institution.

Transfer Scholarships
Your previous academic work can help make an HU education more affordable. Harrisburg University offers several scholarship opportunities specifically for eligible transfer students.
Transfer Presidential Scholarship
For students transferring from another accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher.
Transfer Provost Scholarship
For students transferring from another accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 3.00 or higher.
Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship
For eligible full-time undergraduate transfer students who are members of Phi Theta Kappa National Honor Society. This scholarship may stack with the Transfer Presidential Scholarship.
Transfer Opportunity Scholarship
For students transferring from another accredited institution with a cumulative GPA of 2.0–3.0.
HACC Partnership Scholarship
For eligible recent graduates of Harrisburg Area Community College.
CCP Partnership Scholarship
For eligible recent graduates of Community College of Philadelphia.
