Dr. Siamak Aram, assistant professor of Analytics, recent research has been published. The chapter titled “The Quest for Functional Biomarkers in the Prefrontal Cortex Using Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy (fNIRS)” was just published in the ” Neurophotonics and Biomedical Spectroscopy” Elsevier book. As a data scientist, he contributed to data analysis with this research with the “Translation Biophotonics Lab” at NIH. https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/B9780323480673000068#!

Currently, he’s working on the granted project at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology titled “A Deep Learning approach to Find the Correlation Between Addiction Behavior in Gaming and Brain Activation Using Functional Near-Infrared Spectroscopy” with the same lab at NIH.
