To help further financial literacy education among our students, Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, in partnership with the Pennsylvania Department of the Auditor General, is conducting a Commonwealth-wide Financial Literacy Essay with the theme,  “WHAT DOES FINANCIAL LITERACY MEAN TO ME?”

This contest is for grades 7-12 in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. Submissions can include a 30-second video, short essay, or poem on what financial literacy means to you. Make sure to use #BeMoneySmart when posting your video to TikTok! The deadline for submissions is February 15, 2022. Winners will be announced in April 2022.  

First prize will be $1500; second prize is $1000; third prize is $750.
