Ross Delasin Corporate Faculty (MEBA)

With 20 years’ experience at Penn State University working with students, faculty, staff and entrepreneurs, Ross (Gibson) Delasin’s mentoring and advising focuses on a holistic approach, emphasizing the importance of the students’ academic and personal success.   While working with local technology-based entrepreneurs at Penn State through his position at Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Ross pursued his personal aspirations of entrepreneurship, vacating his position to invest, grow (both the company and its employees) and successfully have acquired a local services-based company.  Once acquisition was completed, Ross pursued his passion for home building/design and entrepreneurship in real estate, representing a regional new home builder.  After two plus years, and establishing phenomenal client relationships, Ross “sold-out” three communities in the Cumberland County market, affording him the opportunity to “take a year off” to regenerate and identify what exciting personal opportunities are ahead.  Reenergized, Ross’s dedication to education and supporting others has directed him back to higher education in the classroom as a MEBA Corporate Faculty member here at HU and as a member of the HU Student Success team!

Ross received his Master of Science in Organizational Development and Leadership; Higher Education from Shippensburg University and his Bachelor in Business Humanities from Penn State University.  In addition, Ross holds his Pennsylvania Real Estate license at Coldwell Banker and serves as the Board Chair of the Harrisburg Area Food Pantry.   When not in Pennsylvania, Ross enjoys spending time in Key Largo, Florida (his home-away-from-home) where palm trees, sand and the ocean breeze, keep his mind, body and spirit happy; but his greatest joy beyond his family, is being in the classroom and creating opportunities of successes for students and peers!
