Nick Sutton, Head Rocket League Coach
Sutton joins Harrisburg University from Wayne State College in Wayne, NE, where he served as Head Esports Coach and led their Esports program. Prior to that, he founded the Esports club at Radford University in Radford, VA, during his undergrad years and helped establish the program, which launched in Fall 2022.
Sutton graduated from Radford University in Fall 2019 with a B.S in Recreation, Parks, & Tourism, double concentrating in Outdoor Recreation & Leadership and Special Events & Tourism. He also served as the Director of Esports at Radford in Spring 2020, before moving on to Wayne State College later that Fall. During his three years at WSC, Sutton’s teams won over 400 games across all titles, including six conference championships and six runner-up finishes. He is currently pursuing an M.S in Sports Management through WSC’s online program. Rocket League is Sutton’s area of specialization, with a record of over 70-14 from his time at WSC as a coach. He has five years of coaching experience in Rocket League and three years of experience as a competitive player. At Harrisburg University, Sutton will focus on recruiting and developing a Rocket League roster to represent the university in the upcoming year.
