Biography
With over 30 years of experience across the healthcare continuum, Luanne has dedicated her career to advancing quality care, building strategic alliances, and shaping meaningful innovations in senior services. Before relocating to Pennsylvania in 2016, she served the Tampa Bay area by working alongside leadership teams, government agencies, corporate stakeholders, and community organizations to expand senior care services and develop high-impact partnerships with some of Florida’s leading healthcare providers.
Upon settling in Pennsylvania, she continued strengthening systems of care through her work with retirement communities and acute care hospital teams. She focused on managing transitions of care and tackling population health issues at the community level. Her role as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at LeadingAge PA—a statewide association representing nonprofit senior living providers—positioned her at the forefront of COVID-19 response efforts. Luanne helped lead collaborative solutions in the face of the pandemic, advocating for care equity, sustainable funding, and innovative workforce development strategies.
At HU, Luanne cultivates partnerships across diverse sectors—uniting academia, healthcare systems, and med tech organizations. She works closely with UPMC and Select Medical to design integrated solutions that address workforce training and care delivery. Her collaborations with global med tech leaders like Abbott, Medtronic, GE Healthcare, and Intuitive focus on expanding access to emerging technologies and educating the healthcare workforce on their real-world applications.
Additionally, Luanne serves as a bridge between providers, educators, and communities—supporting initiatives that spotlight healthcare careers, reimagine training models, and elevate the visibility of cutting-edge products and services. Whether co-developing pilot programs, leading stakeholder engagement efforts, or helping bring new innovations to market, her ability to create and sustain partnerships is a driving force behind her success.
🎓 A graduate of the University of South Florida, Luanne lives in Lebanon County with her husband, Hutch. Outside of work, she’s an avid golfer and enjoys discovering new courses across the Commonwealth.
