Joseph Pollhein Corporate Faculty (PMGT)

Joe was an Army helicopter mechanic and received an opportunity to attend West Point through the USMA Preparatory School. After serving as a combat arms Field Artillery and Combat Engineer officer, Joe began his second career as a manufacturing Plant Manager, working in several national and international organizations leading operations in check printing, plastics manufacture, and tire manufacture. He began his third career in 2008 as a full-time consultant and has travelled the world teaching front line leadership, process and systems improvement, maintenance and reliability excellence, and coaching senior executives.

Joe and his wife Terri live in New Bern, NC and have five grown children building their lives in various locations across the country. Joe and Terri completed a challenging physical and spiritual adventure in 2019, hiking 583 miles from St. Jean Pied de Porte, France, to Santiago de Compostela, Spain, on the Camino de Santiago, via the Camino Frances. They love boating and fishing on the Trent and Neuse Rivers, beachcombing on the North Carolina shores, and anything to do with having family come to visit!

Joe is currently advising clients and managing projects full time, primarily in the Private Equity portfolio company space, creating sustainable EBITDA value and motivated front line and C-suite leaders. He is also enrolled part time in the Doctor of Strategic Leadership program at Liberty University.
