
Caitlin McGee Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy
Dr. Caitlin McGee, M.S., PT, DPT is an Assistant Professor of Physical Therapy at Harrisburg University specializing in neuroscience. Her professional interests include brain and spinal cord injuries, esports, digital technology in rehabilitation, and ergonomics. Caitlin has delivered numerous presentations at national conferences on topics related to musculoskeletal injuries in esports, the role of physical therapists in competitive gaming, and health considerations for gamers.
Caitlin is actively involved in advancing the field of esports medicine through her research, publications, and leadership roles. She co-founded the Esports Health and Performance Institute startup, which provides continuing education for physical therapists and other professionals working with esports athletes. Caitlin also served as an editor for the Handbook of Esports Medicine and has published several peer-reviewed articles and book chapters on esports-related topics, and sits on the editorial board for the Journal of Electronic Gaming and Esports.
