HARRISBURG, PA – At Harrisburg University of Science and Technology, we believe education is the driving force behind personal achievement and economic development.
One of the ways we broaden horizons and expand opportunities for our students is through the Day 1 CPT program. Day 1 CPT (Curricular Practical Training) is a type of off-campus work authorization available to international students in the United States. It is designed to attract and engage only the most promising international learners and to create life-changing opportunities through off-campus employment, internships, and collaborative research.
Recently, Bloomberg News published an article outlining Harrisburg University’s Day 1 CPT program.
The following message from Mark Singel, Chair of the Board of Trustees at Harrisburg University, and Dolly Lalvani, Treasurer of the Board, provides context to this publication and Harrisburg University’s approach to Day 1 CPT.
We are proud of our innovative approach to higher education and stand by our successful track record of student outcomes, government audits, and relationships with science- and technology-focused employers.
