The mission of the HU Center for Innovative Teaching & Learning (CITL) is to provide support for all faculty in building and sustaining a culture of innovation, reflection, and continuous improvement of teaching and learning to promote faculty and student success.

CITL strives to meet this mission by preparing new faculty to succeed in their first year at HU; offering individual consulting to faculty on course and program design, pedagogical methods, learning technology, and professional matters; providing programs, events, and resources to support faculty innovations and staff development; developing instructional content for HU courses and programs; and supporting faculty research on innovative teaching and learning initiatives.
