
Dr. Ozlem Cosgun is Corporate Faculty of Information Systems and Operations Management at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology (HU) in the ISEM (Information Systems Engineering and Management) program. She holds a Ph.D. and Master Degrees in Industrial Engineering.
She has 10+ years of teaching experience at several universities and prior to joining HU, she has taught both undergraduate and graduate courses such as Operations Research, Mathematical Modelling, Applied Statistics, Data Analysis, Predictive Analytics, Analytics Programming, Information Systems and Management, Introduction to Research and Quantitative Research Methods. At HU, she teaches graduate level courses such as Research Methodology and Writing and Graduate Thesis.
Teaching & Research Interests:
Her research interests include Operations Research, Data Analytics, Data-driven Prescriptive Analytics, Operations Management, Quantitative Management and Healthcare Management and Optimization. She has published 40+ publications in peer reviewed journals and conferences in those areas. She is also an affiliate member of the INFORMS Optimization Society and Analytics Society.
