Kathyana Gomez Corporate Faculty
Prof. Kathyana Gomez has 12 years of experience in the Project Management field. Prof. Gomez received a Masters in Business Administration from Texas A&M. In addition, she earned a Bachelor of Science from University of Puerto Rico in Finance, graduating Cum Laude.
In the corporate world, Prof. Gomez is an accomplished Project Management Professional. She has worked as a Director of Project Management Office at the innovation centers for both Airbus and United Technologies (now Raytheon Technologies). She was previously the Lead Financial Analyst for the Tactical Technology Office at the Department of Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA) through Booz Allen Hamilton. Her career is focused around finding new ways to run innovation projects that deliver significant results in a short period of time.
Teaching and Research Interests:
Prof. Gomez is very interested in talking about the value of Project Management Offices and how they can support the execution of innovation efforts that can create positive disruption.
