Allison Harris, PT, DPT, CCS, is an Assistant Professor in the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program at Harrisburg University of Science and Technology. Allison is a board certified cardiovascular and Pulmonary clinical specialist with more than ten years of teaching experience across residential, clinical, and hybrid settings. Dr. Harris has been practicing physical therapy for over a decade with significant expertise in treating individuals with complex medical needs, particularly those with multiple traumatic injuries. Dr. Harris serves her profession in multiple volunteer positions including the APTA’s Acute Care membership committee, and the Academy of Cardiovascular & Pulmonary Physical Therapy virtual education subcommittee. Beyond her professional life, Allison enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, finding peace and adventure in outdoor activities like hiking, kayaking, and gardening.
