Harrisburg University of Science and Technology makes accessibility to a high quality, private education a priority. Families can earn tuition credits to attend the University, thanks to our participation in the national Savings and Growth for Education (SAGE) Scholars program.
SAGE is the nation’s first savings/investment program devoted exclusively to private colleges and universities. SAGE is a program of scholarships provided by participating private colleges nationwide that are given as credit against full tuition. These scholarship credits, called Tuition Rewards, are available to anyone at any income level.
Tuition Rewards are discounts off tuition at participating colleges and universities, such as Harrisburg University. We count Tuition Rewards as part of our normal institutional and merit scholarships. Each Tuition Rewards point is equal to $1 in scholarships and represents the minimum scholarship you receive. These Tuition Rewards can be either stacked or blended with any other institutional scholarships. In other words, one thousand Tuition Rewards Points is a guaranteed $1,000 scholarship spread evenly over the course of a four-year college education. For example, if you have 10,000 Tuition Rewards Points, then you are guaranteed to receive a minimum scholarship of $2,500 per year over four years. The value of the Tuition Rewards guaranteed scholarships can equal up to one full year's tuition.
