High school and college students can gain the skills necessary to enjoy careers in this growing field through the Capital Area Biotechnology Partnership. Biotechnology Partnership classes ensure that you are well-rounded in all subject areas and skills such as computer use, effective written and verbal communication, and math ability.

Our mentoring and internship programs give you contacts and networking opportunities in the biotechnology field. You get to talk to professionals and become familiar with state and national biotech organizations and professional groups. Industry professionals teach courses, too.

If you’re interested in the fields of biology, biotechnology, life sciences or forensics, you should enroll in the Capital Area Biotechnology Partnership. You can join as a high school student, as a transfer student from a community college, or enroll as a student at Harrisburg University.

Courses offered on our campus and at our partner schools prepare you to enter the workforce at anytime, or you can ensure greater success in the field by earning your bachelor’s degree in biotechnology and biosciences at Harrisburg University.
