Learning Technologies Master of Science
IU Cohorts
Harrisburg University of Science and Technology now offers its 36-credit Learning Technologies Master of Science (LTMS) program off-campus in partnership with Intermediate Units in Central PA. Cohorts are offered at the Lincoln IU in New Oxford, the Lancaster-Lebanon IU in Lancaster, Chester County Intermediate Unit (CCIU) and at our downtown Harrisburg location for the Capital Area IU.
The LTMS program introduces leading approaches and skills to help you understand and integrate existing and emerging learning technologies into a variety of learning environments. The cohort program provides the opportunity to attend class close to home, collaborate with a network of other local educators, and connect with other learning professionals across Central PA. Off-campus courses are instructor-led and also integrate synchronous and asynchronous learning technologies.
Program Features
- All activities required for completion of the degree are conveniently available at specified IU locations.
- The same courses from the Harrisburg-based program are available off-campus. Personalized attention to your academic goals and easy-to-access support for other campus services.
- Students from IU 12, IU 13, IU 15, IU 21 and CCIU districts enrolled in an IU-LT Cohort are eligible for reduced tuition of $616/credit hour.
- 36-credit program and all courses are approved for ACT 48 credit.
- Student-focused courses explore cutting-edge approaches and contemporary analysis of instructional design, learning theory and technology-enabled learning solutions.
Program Outcomes
- Increase the effective use of technology for learning in the classroom
- Become a learning technology leader in the school district
- Move into a technology integrator role
Schedule
- The cohort schedule and pace is designed to be responsive to the needs of working adults.
- Courses will be offered in 15-week and 7-day clinic schedules. Other course schedules will be explored to accommodate the cohort.
- Students can participate in the program in fall, spring and summer.
The schedule at the IU locations includes courses which run concurrently with classes in other locations, as well as unique offerings scheduled specially for the IU’s needs and interests.

In addition to courses offered in the fall and spring, during the summer an array of Educators’ Technology Clinics (ETC) is also available at the IU locations. Students can enroll in these classes on a non-degree basis or as part of the Learning Technologies Master’s. To learn more about the ETC program go to www.EdTechClinics.net .
To Apply for Admission

- Submit the application, a goal statement and your resume, and forward your Bachelor’s Degree transcript and tuition deposit to the Office of Admissions at Harrisburg University, 326 Market Street, Harrisburg PA 17101.
- Register Early and Save!
Students who complete the application process by submitting a tuition deposit before the Early Registration due date will save!- Early Registration Tuition Deposit =$50 - on or before the due date.
- Standard Tuition Deposit =$150 - after the due date.
